Heaven and Hell

My eyes were deafened by the sound
my ears were blinded by the sight
standing in heaven
feeling it like hell

Close my eyes, so I can see
the way I’m heading in
no longer waiting for the day
that’ll never come

Don’t regret a thing;
are you the one
to paint the pictures
from inside my head?

Don’t shoot for the moon
for I know I can only find myself
among the stars at large

Breathe - Surrender

surrender to your self,
surrender to your subconscious,
your mind doesn't know until it's too late,
so surrender to your subconscious,
let go of what you think you can control,
and you’ll be able to breathe,
your mind already knows before you even register it all,
so breathe,
breathe in the awe of what you’re capable of, without even knowing you are.

the grip

You cast no shadow,
the darkness in you
is not your own.

You have your own,
held captive by someone or something
who’s hiding inside of you

Can you break their grip and
cast your own
shadow and light of only your own

That’s the beauty of your soul
your own yin and yang
complete in your own

Can you break the grip
of whatever is feeding on your soul
cast your own shadow in your own light!

Force of Habit

Circling and cycling ideas in my head,
but life confronts me, over and over with the same challenges.
I wonder:
Am I in charge through;
or am I a victim of:

Force of habit,
forced by my habits?
forced liked the sea by the moons gravity;
first I’m pulled in,
and then I push back out

They say a good mule hits the same wall but once!
but what if this time the wall breaks?
Just like me, keeping up my habits coaxed by desire,
going for a different end.

Force of habit,
forced by my habits ?
forced like the leaves blowing in the wind;
first I’m flying,
and then miserably I end

Or is it just my nature?
and what if things turned out different, just this once!
and what if, though unknown to me the only thing to set me free is ….

(true love)
